What makes Mayfield Farms Unique?

We rely on 10 core ingredients that form the base of all of our recipes. We use a few other ingredients but they are always whole ingredients, real and organic

Our ingredients are locally sourced when possible, and then US sourced. Occasionally our nut sourcing is from Spain and Italy for Almond Flour but that seems seasonal, and it is hard to find the quantities we need in the US! We use the highest quality ingredients:

Raaka Maple Sweetened Chocolate

Date Lady Dates and Date sugar

Vital Farms Organic pasture raised Eggs

Navitas Cacao

Wilderness Poets for nuts and nut butters

Maple Syrup: New York State sourced when possible or Vermont sourced.

Our Core Ingredients

Almonds: For Almond flour and one ingredient Almond butter (no additives or seed oils!)

Cashews: Whole and for one ingredient Cashew butter (no additives or seed oils!)

Cacao

Maple Syrup: Pure syrup or Maple Sugar

Dates: Whole to be ground into Date paste, or Pure Date sugar, which is dried and ground dates

Lemons

Coconut: For Coconut flakes, Coconut oil, coconut butter, coconut milk and coconut cream

Vanilla: We make our own Vanilla in tequila using whole beans and pure tequila for a completely grain free experience!. Read our blog post about it!

Eggs

Salt: Himalayan Pink Salt

Other Ingredients We Use

Probiotic capsules (We use Flora , gluten free)
Olive Oil
Ceylon Cinnamon
Ginger
Cardamom
Cayenne
Arrowroot Flour (used sparingly)

Because our cakes are nut flour based they tend to be denser and more filling.  Without any grains they are higher in protein and fiber and the sweeteners we use- dates and maple syrup- have a lower glycemic index. This means that they won’t spike your sugar as much as typical sweets. Couple that with our nut flours, which are lower in carbs and you have the perfectly satisfying sweet bite.
